FEBRUARY 22nd 2022 –

Well, it’s been quite a while since we cancelled that 5/31/20 gig at the Turning Point… and the world has been a weird place (well, still is). But the good news is we’re BACK. We will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of Weather Report’s first live shows, and simultaneously reinvigorating our performances with a new set of thrilling originals, written by Peter Furlan and Neil Alexander.
We are also thrilled to welcome the great Thierry Arpino on Drums! Thierry will be on all our shows going forward this year. And speaking of shows, we already have TWO – and they are:

First – Friday February 25th we will make an appearance on the NIGHT FLIGHT MUSIC LIVE Concert series. This is a streaming-only performance series to of Beacon NY. The performance runs from 7:30 – 8:30 PM and can be watched on the Night Flight Facebook Page, their YouTube channel, twitch and the Night Flight Music Website. Learn more at

Secondly – on Saturday March 12th we will be performing LIVE at MAUREEN’s JAZZ CELLAR. For this special “return to live performance” engagement Along with our new original music set we will be including a few choice tunes by Weather Report. This show will sell out – call (845) 535-3143 for reservations.

So the rumors are true – WE ARE BACK! Stay tuned for more news and updates as the year progresses.

March 17 2020 –

Well well well! We’re back at it, Sunday May 31st at the Turning Point Cafe in Piermont NY. Peter Furlan, Ratzo Harris and Neil Alexander will be joined by the wonderful Thierry Arpino on drums. Will let you all know when tickets go on sale.

October 2nd 2019 –

Well, it’s been a minute….! We’ve done several shows since the last post, most recently September 14th at Maureen’s Jazz Cellar – another “Unplugged” show. We’ve had some issues with our web hosting provider and I’m happy to report that we’ve migrated to a new host and everything is just peachy on our website.

Ratzo Harris, our wonderful bassist, had some relatively minor surgery and missed the last show. We wish him a speedy recovery, and he seems to be healing up well.

Peter Furlan released a fantastic large ensemble cd titled “Between the Lines”  It’s a fabulous disc and it’s getting serious airplay internationally. Both Neil Alexander and trumpeter Vinnie Cutro played on the CD as well as co-produced.

We’re hoping to ramp up our shows more in 2020. We’ve stretched out and added a few more originals, and tunes by the Brecker Brothers and other music that fits our credo: Keeping the Flame of Electric Jazz Burning. Stick around, there’s much more music to come!

December 31st 2018 –

Our hearts and condolences go out to his family, friends and fans. Here’s a video of Weather Report playing “Consequently“, a tune Victor wrote.
